Not really a pot but a jug. At the boot fair on Sunday 6th September, Sue went wandering around the mass of stalls and found this lovely jug, which will be added to the accessories in the house. See if you can spot it on your next visit.

Members of the committee are always on the look-out for items to furnish the house to make it more attractive and interesting for visitors. Here we see a lovely old chest found in a local charity shop. It now graces one of the rooms in the house. See if you can spot it when you next visit. During a lovely sunny day in Faversham at their Dickens Day, Sue found these lovely pots in a charity shop. Considering that they were ideal for the kitchen room, they were bought and are now on display.

From time to time members of the committee take a stall at a local boot fair as a replacement for the loss of the High Street Market. Here we see Penny, our treasurer, gainfully manning our stall at the beginning of August, raising £125 in the process.

Several Friends also volunteer on a regular basis to help maintain the whole area in general. If you would like to volunteer on a casual basis, particularly watering while there is no hosepipe ban in our area, or weeding if you prefer, please contact Abby at the house who will put you on the rota and guide you through any procedures.
