The Friends of Eastgate House is a voluntary group that supports the conservation of Eastgate House, in Rochester, Kent.
Formed in 2012, we have the following objectives:
The Friends of Eastgate House is a charitable organisation, governed by a constitution and registered with HMRC for charitable purposes. This enables us to claim gift aid on donations we receive.
The Friends of Eastgate House Executive Committee is made up of volunteers that are voted in by members at the Annual General Meeting. The committee members are:
Chairman - Susan Haydock
Vice-Chairman - Vacancy
Treasurer - Ian McLeod
Secretary - Terri Zbyszewska
Research Officer - Pauline Weeds
Alan Moss - provides a link between the Friends of Eastgate House and the City of Rochester Society.
Medway Council representatives:
Ed Woollard - Heritage Services Manager
Lisa Caleno - Visitor Development Officer
Sarah Belsom - Heritage Operations Manager
The committee meets at least 8-10 times a year at Eastgate House. Annual General Meetings are held in June and members are invited to attend.
The Friends of Eastgate House work with a range of similar organisations in Rochester and local businesses to organise member events and to provide a greater range of benefits to members.
We would like to thank them for their generous support.
