Susan Haydock drops in to make lavender bags

​Whilst paying a passing visit to Eastgate House to see how things were going, I was persuaded to join a sewing workshop making lavender bags.  I joined the small group of friendly ladies and set about choosing my fabric and design.  Two hours later I had made two heart-shaped lavender bags which smelled gorgeous.

The workshop was part of a promotion by the Adult Education Centre to promote Eastgate House, and entry to the house and the workshop was free for those who attended.
