Eastgate House project launch

Staff, partners and Friends came together to celebrate the start of the restoration works to the house. The launch was also attended by Cllr Howard Doe, architects Thomas Ford & Partners and building contractors FWA who gave a short presentation on the works.

There was interest from the local and regional press including and ITV Meridian and BBC South East who were also very interested in the recent find of the Victorian letter which was recovered from under the floorboards which is believed to date from the time the house was a boarding school.
