This popular display, which was previously located at the Rochester Community Hub, includes the artefacts found at Eastgate House around the start of the building works, including the Victorian letter found beneath the floorboards. You can also see artefacts that were found in the gardens of the house when it was being converted into a museum (starting around 1897) to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
