Friends of Eastgate House at Rochester Dickens Festival, 5-6 December 2015

​The Friends of Eastgate House and representatives from Medway Council's Heritage Services Team donned Victorian costumes to raise interest of the restoration of Eastgate House at this year’s Dickensian Festival.

y​Located just inside the foyer at the Rochester Community Hub the Friends of Eastgate House set up a table as part of the Victorian Craft Fair. The display included images from the house, the restoration works and some of the events that have taken place at the house in previous years. Information leaflets about the restoration project and the Friends were also available for people to take away.
There were a number of visitors to the table throughout the weekend including the Mayor of Medway Cllr Barry Kemp and his Mayoress is Mrs Joyce Kemp - seen pictured with Sue Haydock, Chairman of the Friends of Eastgate House.
