The Friends of Eastgate House attended the Rochester Artisan Market on Saturday 17th April 2021 - re-opening it's fundraising activities for the first time in over a year. Selling a range of pre-owned items, such as jewellery, prints and ceramics close to The French Hospital in Rochester, the Friends raised over £100 on their stall, surpassing expectations.
Like many small voluntary organisations, Covid-19 has impacted greatly on the Friends of Eastgate House fundraising activities. Over the year, we have missed out on potential income of around £1,200 as a result of the cancellation of events, such as the Rochester Dickens Festival. We are planning more fundraising events as we cautiously come out of the lockdown. If you would like to join us, volunteer for our fundraising events or would like to make a donation for one of our stalls, please get in touch by email [email protected].
