![]() The Guildhall Museum has announced its Autumn Lecture Series and has offered the Friends of Eastgate House a warm welcome. The series of five lectures are themed around the events of one of the most pivotal dates in English history, 1066. They start on 29 September with historian and TV presenter, Dr Marc Morris and run through to 24 November 2016. The talks will take place in the 17th century splendour of the Guildhall’s Court Chamber (pictured) at the Guildhall Museum, 17 High St, Rochester ME1 1PY.
Tickets to attend the lectures cost £7.50, though members of the Friends of the Guildhall Museums, Friends of Medway Archives and Friends of Eastgate House can purchase tickets at the reduced price of £5.00. To book a place, call 01634 332680 or email [email protected]. Tickets must be purchased in advance and collected prior to the event.
