Reading of 'A Christmas Carol'

On Saturday 20th January, The Dickens Declaimers, a group of members from the Broadstairs branch of the Dickens Fellowship gave a reading of A Christmas Carol in the house.  Three of the members acted/read the parts and a fourth gave a narration..

It was a full house, and the one hour performance was amazing.  Scrooge, the three ghosts, Marley, Bob and Mrs Cratchit all came to life before us.  It was a wonderful presentation and brightened up a really dismal Saturday afternoon.  Keep a look out for them as I am sure they will be back again.  All proceeds including the raffle will go towards the Chalet Restoration Fund.
