Treasurer wanted for the Friends of Eastgate House

The Friends of Eastgate House is a voluntary group that supports the conservation of Eastgate House, in Rochester, Kent and is looking for a treasurer to join its small and friendly committee.

The treasurer plays an important role and as well as managing the Friends’ finances, they also have an opportunity to contribute ideas and shape activities to improve the Friends’ effectiveness and financial performance.

The treasurer will join the Friends at an exciting time, as we work with Medway Council to support the re-opening of Eastgate House to the public in May 2017 following a period of restoration to the house which has been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

If you are an experienced bookkeeper or accountant, have an interest in history and English heritage, and have between 1-3 hours a month then the Friends of Eastgate House would love to hear from you.
